No. 2 seed Ben Shelton saved three championship points on his way to a 3-6, 6-3, 7-5 comeback victory over No. 1 seed Taylor Fritz to win the Nexo Dallas Open on Sunday.
Shelton, who fired 16 aces without a double fault, went behind 40-15 during the 10th game of the third set but saved two straight match points. Fritz then went up an advantage, leaving Shelton to save another match point before pulling ahead and ultimately tying the set at 5-5.
Fritz lost the one-hour, 51-minute match despite winning 43 of 49 first-service points (87.8%) and hitting 14 aces. It marked Shelton's first win indoors and his fourth overall on the ATP Tour.
ABN AMRO Open
Top-seeded Alex de Minaur of Australia cruised to a 6-3, 6-2 win over No. 2 Felix Auger-Aliassime of Canada to win the title in Rotterdam, Netherlands.
The third time was the charm for de Minaur, who reached the final of this event three years running but lost to Jannik Sinner in 2024 and Carlos Alcaraz in 2025. On Sunday, he won 7 of 9 points at the net and capitalized on his opponent's mistakes by taking 16 of 23 points on Auger-Aliassime's second serve.
Auger-Aliassime won 18 of 22 first-service points (81.8%), but committed 26 unforced errors to just eight winners.
IEB+ Argentina Open
No. 1 seed Francisco Cerundolo delighted the home-turf fans in Buenos Aires by defeating No. 2 Luciano Darderi 6-4, 6-2 to win his national open.
Cerundolo saved 6 of 7 break points to help make up for 26 unforced errors. He outpaced Darderi 25-15 in total winners.
It marked Cerundolo's first time winning the Argentina Open after losing the final last year to Brazil's Joao Fonseca. He joined Diego Schwartzman and Facundo Diaz Acosta as Argentinian champions in the past six years.
