The Australian Federal Police (AFP) are appealing to the public for assistance in locating Michael Connors, a 25-year-old Irish national who is allegedly residing in Australia unlawfully.
An arrest warrant has been issued for Connors in relation to alleged passport offences. He was last seen in Brisbane, Queensland, on March 15, 2025, and is known to use multiple aliases, including Craig O'Neill, Michael O'Brien, John Cash, Karl George Lynch, and Joseph Blyth Kennedy. Authorities caution that he may be operating under another name.
Connors is described as standing between 168 and 175 centimeters tall, with blue eyes, a fair complexion, and red hair. He has previously spent time in New South Wales and Victoria, where he faces outstanding court matters for burglary and fraud, including involvement in roof-repair scams.
AFP Detective Acting Superintendent Natalie Scott emphasized the importance of community involvement in such cases, stating, "The community plays a crucial role in reporting crime and helping police locate and apprehend offenders – they're our eyes and ears on the streets."
She further noted that Connors has a history of alleged involvement in serious offences, including fraudulent activities across two countries, leaving "devastated people in his wake."
Anyone with information regarding Michael Connors' whereabouts is urged to contact Crime Stoppers at 1800 333 000 or from overseas +61 1800 333 000..
