Get a Free Ride When Drinking in Boulder, CO.
BOULDER, CO / ACCESSWIRE / November 19, 2023 / The Ferrell Law Firm is pleased to announce their latest sober rides campaign, which aims to protect Boulder residents' safety and well-being during the forthcoming Thanksgiving Day weekend. During this promotion, the law firm will compensate people up to $30 for rides made using well-known ridesharing services like Uber and Lyft, promoting responsible decision-making and discouraging driving while intoxicated.
Thanksgiving Drunk Driving Statistics
While it's a time to celebrate with loved ones, there's a tendency for alcohol consumption to rise on national holidays. Regrettably, this may cause an unsettling increase in the number of incidents involving drunk drivers. Based on National Safety Council (NSC) statistics, drunk driving deaths accounted for 30% of all traffic fatalities nationwide in 2020, along with 36% of Thanksgiving Day deaths involving an impaired driver.
Accidents involving alcohol-impaired driving not only cause irreparable harm to individuals, but they also put a considerable strain on emergency medical services, hospital staff, and law enforcement agencies.
Receive a Sober Ride on Thanksgiving
You do not have to drink and drive on Thanksgiving Day! The Ferrell Law Firm wants to help fight this problem and make it easier for you to do the right thing. Offering reimbursement of up to $30, the firm seeks to remove any financial obstacles that may prevent individuals from making an informed decision to avoid impaired driving.
If you want to apply for the program, you'll need to be 21 or older and have used a rideshare service from November 22nd to November 26th. The rideshare service will start or end in Boulder, CO, and you will need to provide a photo ID and a screenshot of your receipt. You will also need to send a copy of your receipt to The Ferrell Law Firm by email to [email protected]. This program is only for the first 25 submissions. You will need to submit your receipts within seven days of Thanksgiving Day.
The Ferrell Law Firm is more than just a law firm. Our goal with this campaign is to make a difference in the lives of the people of Boulder. We want to support and encourage responsible decisions during this time of year as drunk driving accidents are increasing.
