KATOOMBA, Blue Mountains, NSW, Australia - The Blue Mountains Police Area Command is investigating an incident on Friday afternoon.
Around 1:30pm on Friday in Waratah Street, Katoomba a man was in possession of knives and was threatening police officers.
At the time, there were a number of members of the public in the immediate area. Police are now seeking assistance from anyone who may have captured the incident on mobile phone video or dash cam video.
Anyone that can assist, is requested to contact S/C Porley at Katoomba Police Station on 47828199 or Crime Stoppers on 1800333000.
The man was arrested at the scene on Friday and is now in custody.
