School damaged by suspicious fire

A fire at a primary school in Melbourne's south-east, is being treated as suspicious. The fire, which broke out just after 5:00am (AEST) has destroyed an office and two classrooms at the Wheelers Hill Primary School in Whites Lane. Metropolitan Fire Brigade (MFB) Commander, Rob Dean, says crews worked hard to stop the fire spreading. "The potential was very great for major damage," he said. "The MFB have deemed the fire suspicious. Police will be investigating, and we also have our investigators."
