Microsoft and Psychster Release Study on How to Use Twitter During a Website Outage.

The collaborative study by Microsoft and Psychster examined how companies should use Twitter to address a site outage, interruption in service, or unscheduled downtime. The results showed that tweets by employees are more effective than tweets by executives, and the right explanation may reduce both customer support calls and negative perceptions.
