Bridgepoint Hires Goldman Sachs For Sale Of ERM

GS ) to handle the sale of ERM, an environmental consultancy, a spokesman for Bridgepoint confirmed to Dow Jones Newswires Monday. Based in the U.K., ERM provides environmental services to public and private clients worldwide from 137 offices in 40 countries with a staff of 3,600. Bridgepoint bought ERM at the end of 2005 for $535 million. ERM has forecast net revenue of $500 million for March 2011. The company has five business streams: contaminated site management, compliance assurance, environmental impact assessment, M&A advisory services and climate change.
